I know these nails aren't really "nail art" per se, but I just bought this new color from Essie called Peach Daiquiri, and I'm in love with ittt :). This picture definitely doesn't do the color justice (it actually makes the color look dull and washed out but its not), but its soooo pretty! It's very feminine and bright. I also added the shiny color to spice things up a bit. Plain-old manis are just so plain. I definitely recommend you get this color. It's only 8 bucks and its so cute on all skin tones.

Explosion Nails
Hey, so I just did these Sunday, but I haven't had a chance to put up the pic. Hope you like 'em. Oh, by the way, these past two ideas I've gotten from a blog called "Nailside" and you should check her out because she's really awesome! She does a lot of designs using tape like this.

Double lightning bolt nails
So here's the superhero nails I promised to post. Sorry I know they're kind of crappy looking. I didn't wait for the bottom coat to dry so I had a lot of smudging. Here's a list of colors I used:
-Revlon in Black Lingerie
-Orly in Shine (by the way i LOVE this color =) )
-Cover Girl Boundless Color in Candy Apple (really bad quality, so I don't recommend using it)
-And finally Seche Vite (a fast-drying top coat)
Lots of love,

Intro :)
Hey there. My name is Amy, and I'm beginning this nail blog because of all the obvious reasons. I've done several designs, and most of them turned out quite well. Unfortunately, until now, I haven't documented any of my progress, so I have no pictures to show. Some of the past designs I've done include zebra print, flower designs, checkers, and my most recent attempt at a double lightning bolt designs which I will include pictures of later.
You may or may not be able to tell (but you soon will figure out), I'm a very amateur nail designer, and I don't usually create designs of my own. I mostly just copy ideas from various other blogs. Hopefully that might change but we'll see ;). My family and friends claim that my nails always look cool, but I'm a perfectionist, so I don't really think they're all that, especially compared to the ones I've seen from fellow bloggers.
The main purpose of this blog is to show off my designs, but I'd also like to collect your comments and feedback because both are always helpful. I'll upload photos of my latest designs (usually I do my nails after they've begun to chip, so like every week, or two if I'm busy or just straight up lazy). Sometimes I might not have the most detailed or interesting design to show you because of lack of time. Also, if I get a new color, I might not do a design at all, so I can just try out a new color. I might attempt to do tutorials of nail art if you show particular interest in one design (although it will most likely be a mimic of another tutorial), or if I come up with a design I really like (which is rare). I will also do requests if it doesn't seem to difficult (and if I get any requests anyways. I'm not sure how many/who will read this).
I want this blog is helpful and interesting to those who are reading, or if you want to view it just for ideas or inspiration, that's awesome too. I'm hoping I will actually have readers! Anyways, that's all for now. Look for a post of my lightning bolt nails. It should be up shortly and thanks so much for reading!
Lots of love,
αmy ♥
P.S. I'm definitely going to change the style/background of the blog. The green flowery thing is just temporary until I find enough time to play around with and make it more me.
